Borgo Colognola
Borgo Colognola is a small village ("borgo") nestled in the pristine landscape of the Umbrian countryside ("the green heart of Italy"), among vineyards, olive groves and farms close to the town of Perugia.
The restored 13th century villa will be the gathering place of our family & friends, hosting the welcome dinner, wedding and day after pool party.
While the estate is not able to host everyone, there are a variety of nearby accommodations. We will also have transportation arrangements available for those not on property.
GETTING THERE AND AROUND
FLIGHTS
Borgo Colognola is 12 minutes from the Umbrian town of Perugia. The closest international airports are Rome–Fiumicino International Airport (FCO) & Florence (FLR), both of which are 2 hours by car or by train. Rome has the most international flights. Check the FAQs for more info.
TRAIN
The train to Perugia from both Rome & Florence is a lovely way to see the countryside and make your way to Perugia, taking a bit over 2 hours. They leave quite regularly from Rome Termini Station. If you are staying in Perugia note that the train station is outside of town so you'll have to jump in a local taxi.

MONDAY JULY 18
CASUAL WELCOME DINNER
at Borgo Colognola starting at 7 PM - Midnight
Attire is Summer Casual; our welcome dinner will be a pizza party in a very rustic setting. Dress comfortably but feel free to have fun!
A shuttle will be provided to/from Perugia center and the venue .
TUESDAY JULY 19
THE BIG DAY
at Borgo Colognola starting at 5:30 PM til late
Attire is Cocktail Attire/Summer Polished; classy and elegant, but comfortable as it will be Italy in July. Think linen or lightweight suiting, elegant summer dresses in fun colors. Italian Villa Vibes. Feel free to dress this up as much as you wish.
A shuttle will be provided to/from Perugia center and the venue .
WEDNESDAY JULY 20
POOL PARTY
at Borgo Colognola around 11 AM - 8 PM
Attire is Tanks and Trunks; just be mindful of unfortunate tan lines.
We ask that guests utilize the taxis if staying in town - we will also have a taxi on call at the venue so that guests are able to come and go as they please.
THURSDAY JULY 21
DEPARTURE BY 10 AM

ACCOMMODATIONS

The borgo will be able to accommodate family members on property with a few additional guests depending on attendance. Feel free to reach out with questions when making arrangements.

We are excited to have many of our family and friends spend some quality time with us, making great memories and just relaxing.
It goes without saying that we would love for all of you to attend but understand that there are scheduling/financial/travel/life and COVID considerations which all play a role in deciding.
